We reserve the right to postpone or cancel any course without notice. Attendees may cancel up to 48 hours in advance without penalty. Cancellations up to 24 hours in advance incur no penalty if the minimum number of attendees is maintained. Otherwise, and always in the case of no-shows (except in the cases of medical emergency and family bereavement) a 100% penalty of the tuition (not including materials fees, if any) is levied.

During this hands-on, two day class each student will create their very own face grain cutting board. This class will teach the student how to safely and properly operate various woodworking machinery including the miter saw, jointer, table saw, planer and router table. The student will also learn how to glue, clamp, sand, and finish their cutting boards. Our instructor will go over a variety of techniques which will provide the student with the skills necessary to pursue their own woodworking projects.

A $45 materials fee covers each student's wood and consumables for their take-home project.

This is a two day course held on May 25th and 26th from 1:00PM to 4:00PM.  

Suggested Prerequisite: Prior completion of Intro to Wood Shop Power Tools or basic woodworking skills are highly encouraged.

**No loose or baggy clothing. Hair that is shoulder length or longer should be tied back. Please wear closed-toe shoes. No sandals**
