Do you want to use the cool machines?  Do you want to make incredible things that make people wonder how you did it?

The 2D graphics class is where it all starts.  It’s the gateway to all the really amazing computer controlled machines at MakerPlace.

Vinyl Cutter:

CNC Plasma:

CNC Router:

When you learn to make 2D designs like these, soon you can think about how those 2D designs will look on each machine and in multiple materials like wood, plastic, metal, vinyl, leather, thread, and more. You can also create beautiful logos for your companies and for clients and friends.

In this class we will learn CorelDraw, which is on all the computers and laptops available to you at MakerPlace. By the end of the class, you will understand enough to do most of the things you want to do, and to be able to self-learn the rest.

Please wear closed toe shoes so we can see the shop together, and bring a USD flash drive if you want to save some of the files you create in class.

There are no particular prerequisites for this class other than very basic understanding of how to use a computer.  This class is for everyone.

Please arrive 10 minutes early to complete any necessary paperwork. Our shop can be a little tricky to find so we suggest giving yourself extra time for traffic and parking.

**Please wear closed-toe shoes. No sandals**
