    I also bought some sheet metal cutting snips that I never used. This could be possibly used for cutting thin sheet metal or foil.

    I found my microscope! It's like a webcam, but it magnifies up to 100 times at 640 resolution. Great for close up inspection of laser cutting. It's made by Carson, look up Carson MM-640. I plan on using it to get the best possible focus on the laser, as it's taking too long to cut my acrylic, and I need precise cuts.

    Ok cool. It would be nice if we had a special locker for this kind of thing. Not sure how to organize it.

    does anyone happen to have access to any jewelry making tools?  specifically i am looking for a variable speed, foot pedal controlled flexshaft and an acetylene-only torch and regulator kit.....

    You can use a propane torch from Home Depot for jewelry soldering.

    thanks jonathan...i think that is what i am going to do until i find that i need higher volume.  i also bit the bullet and ordered myself a flexshaft, so if anyone is interested in using it, let me know!
