Learn to simplify pictures into one continuous line. These skills apply to everything from free motion quilting, silhouette screen printing, to making logos and laser cut portraits. This class teaches you how to make a single line look like a dog, tree or person. Begin by tracing and at the end of class be able to draw like Picasso! Learn how to draw with your brain and let your hands catch on later. At the end of the class you will know which lines are needed to make an image and how to find them. You will understand how your body learns and the most efficient ways to teach it.

Now that the hard part is done, let's learn how to quilt! This class is hands on. You will be guided through the quilting processes; securing edges, tensioning fabric, pulling up bobbin thread, locking stitches and tending batting. We will introduce stipple, meandering, pantographs, and teach the final steps of finishing and removing the quilt. With a focus on disaster prevention, you will learn exactly what is needed to quilt without a snag! We will wrap up by discussing all of the things we have learned and how they will affect the finished product.
