Screen printing is easy and fun but it can get messy. We will show you how to minimize the mess and make it look cool. In this class students will learn three ways to get an image on a screen, what kinds of images work well on screens and how to print multi-colored images. We will discuss pigments, inks and the pros and cons of each. Each student will have the opportunity to prepare a screen and screen print on fabric.
A small materials fee covers each student’s pigments, ink, and screens.
Students should bring in their own fabric, like a Tshirt, that they would like to print on.
